Weekend x 5
I was paid last Friday which seems like a year ago and I just worked out that there are four weekends left before the next payday. Five weekends in one month? I don’t think it should be allowed.
So consequently I am unable to let Tom buy the bits to make me a new computer and I have to make do with what I have which is not very much. I need more RAM and a USB and a Network card, then I need broadband, and to utilise my present from America - a Wireless router - oooh.
I’m not quite sure what it does but I think it means Tom will be able to spend time at my house without looking a bit lost…and he has also told me it is an absolute essential in any household.
Perhaps tomorrow I will tell you about my other present, if you are very lucky.

even a single person house should not be without a router. it’s only polite, when you have visitors round you let them eat off plates and drink from cups, so you should allow them a space to plug their network cable in, or some wifi too is even better :)

I don’t seem to have many friends who request it. Perhaps they are just being polite.

it’s like if you offered someone a meal not on a plate. they’d be too embarrassed to complain.
except this is worse because a person without a router doesn’t even offer connectivity! omg.

Are you saying you wouldn’t comment if someone served you sausage and mash without a plate? hmm

yes because it would be such a shockingly bad thing to do i would be stunned to silence.

I like it when my friends come over and plug their laptops in.
I’d like it more if I had airport though.
