Mobile phones are the new biscuit
I was having a dream about a nice big bee. It flew over me and landed just next to by bedside table so I reached out and tried to catch it. Then I woke up because I realised the friendly dream bee was actually alerting me to the fact that my mobile phone had fallen into a cup of tea.
Oh no….I saved the sim and the battery but the screen is full of tea not going anywhere and I can’t open it to get it out. I have to do it soon otherwise the milk will start going off, but there is just no way to open the phone.
I wonder if it was the bee who knocked it in.

I don’t think its dead…more dieing a slow painful death…I suggest a paramedic (carphone warehouse) before it gets any worse!
I’m so impressed by your friendly bee though. Maybe he’s your spirit guide :o)

it’s really upsetting when technology dies. it’s like a pet dying.

re: tech death
it reminds me of when i was about 12, my friend alex wrote a poem, ‘the enigmatic pencil’ which was about a posh propelling pencil that stopped working. the focus was very much on the engineering side of the pencil, and how it had been the best thing ever, and now it was just useless and broken.
i think that’s why it makes me sad. broken technology is useless, whereas with a broken bike you might be able to fix it, but 99% of the time with technology you can’t.

That’s really depressing.
I think I have decided this one is dead. Everyone in my office shared the moment and we said a few words.
I’m going to buy a picture phone now yay!
