The most confusing thing about all the news coverage on the Big brother fighting has been the report that members of the public called the police when they saw the fighting break out on TV. Do they think the channel 4 production team go home at night and they are the only person in the world who is watching so they feel sort of responsible for them? I wonder if they called 999 or their local police station. Whatever, I hope they thought about it and felt really stupid.

yeah that is so totally stupid. it’s the old soap opera syndrome where you think the people are real only in this case they think they are the only people seeing them?

apparently they’ve cancelled tonights eviction and postponed it for a week to “calm things down a bit”. That couldn’t have been an easy decision, but it could have been something to do with the Daily Mail calling the programme, “an orgy of carefully planned, artfully manipulated degradation”. I don’t think Mail readers realise, thats exactly the intention! :o)
