tasks
My task for the afternoon is to put the finishing touches to my holiday with Tom. I am going to plan how we are going to cope with five different countries and therefore five different currencies. Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Sweden. I’m not thinking about five different languages today. I am most looking forward to sorting out the Estonia part as I want to know how many EEKs we will need.
In other news:
The tea in my phone has exaporated
The Stranglers are headlining the Ashton Court Festival
I found out where the phrase “Taking the Piss” came from but it’s far too complicated to explain here. It involves Ships, barrels of urine and it originated hundreds of years ago.
The Boots travel range is really exciting.

Ooh! Where in Poland are you going to?? My girlfriend’s family are from Warsaw, her brother (english) moved there a month ago in quest of a “life changing experience” - if you want I can get him to show you around a bit. Warsaw has the best jazz scene I’ve ever experienced….and some of the most moving history and architecture you’ll ever see.

Warsaw…but we’re not there for very long and already have a friend of Tom’s guiding us…thanks.

Okedokee :o) If you get a chance though you should pop by “Bar Soma”. Its a wonderful little place that brews its own beer in large silver pipes INSIDE the bar itself. They always have live blues and jazz too, which kinda adds to the experience. Hope you have a good time!

I didn’t think Boots travel products were good at all!! And I’ve checked them out in the large number of huge Boots superstores in Northampton (don’t know why they need an excess of Boots…perhaps Northampton people smell?)
