Fayre enough
2004 is the year of the local Christmas Fayre. I have already been to The Cirencester Festive Market, the Clevedon Christmas Fayre and today I am going to one in Clifton Village and the Create Centre Festive Fayre. The last one is an environmental Christmas Fayre you know. I don’t feel the slightest bit christmassy yet, although that may change later when I copy Tom and make Stollen.
i don’t feel very festive yet. i reckon this time next week i will after the bbc good food show (that is unless gary rhodes carve a turkey).
i did notice they have a christmas tree in waitrose though. a nice touch.
that should have read (that is unless i have to watch gary rhodes carve a turkey).
i just bought a christmas tree.
you bought a christmas tree already!! That’s a bit premature.
All this talk should upset me but the thing is I have just spent the afternoon sat on a terrace drinking coffee and planning my month in Sydney and Melbourne and how many beaches I can cover seeing as its really hot there already heehee. I feel quite strange about this contrast but blocking Christmas out is the only way I can cope besides I get to return home with a healthy glow and have a full on fake Christmas yey!
