I wonder if I can eat cake for every meal today. There is enough left over but I don’t think I will survive, or sleep. None of us could sleep last night due to the amount of cake consumed in the afternoon.

So now my pier party is out the way it’s time to think about the next birthday celebration. Tom and I are going on a trip to the Cairngorms next weekend which sometimes can look as beautiful as this:

but unfortunately about half an hour ago it looked like this:

My birthday party on the pier was lovely. The cakes courtesy of Tom, mum, Tim and Katy and Jo were excellent and it was great to see everyone. I got some lovely presents and the pagoda on the pier was a brilliant venue. It’s not even my birthday until Friday so there is lots more fun to be had.
