get me a cheap house

March 29th, 2004

I read about an exciting new craze in the Sunday Times yesterday, and that is of people being ‘property guardians’.

If you become a property guardian you can get massive places to live (seems to be most often weird buildings like libraries and warehouses!) for about £150 a month, in London. You get loads of rooms and stuff and all you have to do is tell them if there is a leak or anything and make sure squatters dont’ move in. Oh, and be willing to move house at a months notice. Ambika Property and Camelot Property seem to have all the information. Including a disused nursing home in Norfolk.
