news updated in bullet form:
i was robbed in warsaw. someone stole my trolly (from under my nose) in the supermarket, it contained a 2 zloty piece. but luckily nothing else.
in this part of the world, it would seem to be a faux-pas to pay with anything except the correct change, any bigger, […]

Sunday, June 20th, 2004
Charmed Labs, who brought us the Xport have now developed the Xport Robot Controller (XRC).
with a mixture of this, some Lego and a Gameboy, you have a perfect robot development platform. which is quite exciting. not only that, but as well as being compatible with a number of sensors and cameras for percepts / […]
the ultimate rude choon delivery

thought i’d wait for the slashdot hysteria to blow over a bit before posting this so you don’t have to endure the same 10 minute wait for the page to load that i did.
mr david edmondson has a very nice little (err) project to install a ridiculously geeky in-car entertainment system. i won’t spoil […]
my efficiency epiphany
Thursday, June 17th, 2004
i found myself sitting in an exam once again today, the subject was languages and compilers. quite a hard one, but clocking in at a mere 90 minutes.
for the 5th time this summer, i was amazed by the amount of people who leave the examination hall at the earliest possible opportunity. in a 90 […]
