on holiday

so.. arrived in warsaw. interesting observations so far:
- they have a ’sharps’ amnesty at stansted airport.. the box contained, amongst other things, a tea spoon and a coat hanger.
- before being searched at stansted (for setting off the beeper), i was asked my age.
- the american embassy in warsaw had a very large queue today (and a very large amount of guards with sub-machine guns), hundreds of people. i wanted to take a picture, but such things are forbidden
- don’t let drunk poles try and guide you to your accommodation late at night
that’s all.
