did anybody tell you microsoft suck?

I’m using Excel for OSX and I notice Microsoft decided to include a display on screen of the current status of the lock lights, in case you’re too dumb to see your lock lights maybe.
Anyway, I notice the num lock light is on on screen. On my keyboard it is off though, I toggle it, and it stays on all the time on screen. What’s that all about?
