incidents

Yesterday I was astounded when a woman walked out directly in front of me, with her back to me, into the road while pushing a pushchair, me cycling.
It was such a close call there was no time for bell ringing, this meant braking sharply and swerving towards the kerb to miss her.
Today, I was cycling along, surrounded by 5 other cyclists, along an on-road cycle track. as I approached traffic lights, one car shunted into the back of another, knocking the front car onto the cycle track, directly in front of me. And more coincidence? The car to the left of me was a poliece car, which put their blue lights on, and off I went.
Finally, while very near to my flat, 3 very large dogs belonging to different people, all not on leads, decided to have a fight directly in front of me, with one very nearly going under my wheel. Crazy roads.

I guess someone is trying to tell you to give up the bike for a week or two… :-p
