i’ve got a (nearly) brand new bicycle

Perhaps the most exciting thing ever, or maybe just today, is my new bicycle:
Until today I’d never ridden anything except a mountain bike. Now I understand.
It’s thanks to Fred’s expert advice that I was able to identify my new vehicle. I can’t wait for it to get light again so I can go for a ride.

I am very jealous of Tom’s new bicycle – it is a lovely colour with fantastic transfers on the frame. I might get one similar if I can find one.

Nice bike. It’s a bit of a revelation switching from an MTB, isn’t it? Look forward to reading your ride reports.

Today I introduced my bike to the route to university.
It was a gentle introduction and I should imagine it will stay that way while we all become acclimatised!
