how lazy/posh are you?

March 19th, 2005

On my way to urgently find a potato from an independent food retailer this evening, i took a detour down Montpelier Villas. With the heat as it was in the early evening, and the palm-like trees which line this street (a designated nature reserve), I could have been in the mediterranean.

But what’s this? Near the bottom of the street a van had pulled up at the kerb and out pops a well dresssed young man carrying some shopping bags. He rings the doorbell, and the bags are received. Of course, home delivery.

But from Waitrose? Can you really be that lazy? For those who don’t know the area, here is a map I liberated from an online source, and modified to include the approximate location of the offending consumers, and the supermarket. Scale intentionally remaining.
