in January a key broke on my iBook keyboard, causing me to call Apple and ask for a replacement. They told me it would be replaced under warranty and they would send me a new one. Great!
A new keyboard arrived in the post, but it was the wrong kind of iBook keyboard. And they charged me for it. Not so great.
I called them and asked for them to reimburse me and send me the correct keyboard. They agreed only to send me a new keyboard, but not reimburse me.
The correct keyboard never arrived.
I contacted them again 2 weeks ago, they apologised (at last) and said they would send me the correct keyboard. I just received an Apple desktop keyboard in the post. What use is that?

it is of use in building a solid complaint case against their wrong handling of your simple query. you should now expect at least the delivery charges refunded. speak to their complaints department, or write to their head office.
wow, i sound like one of those consumer experts from the papers.
