Today I was pumping up the tyres on my bicycle using a £3 mini pump from tchibo. This pump is not quite capable of obtaining anything like a high pressure without an extreme amount of effort.

on a visit to Brighton last week, I discovered there is not 1 new Wimpy in the city, but 2! I didn’t take a picture of the 2nd one, it looked quite a lot like the 1st.

can you imagine life without pizza? obviously some people can’t, or else they wouldn’t have invented the in-car pizza oven. pizza wherever you go (as long as you drive a car!).

i made an interesting observation while working at the annual ashton court festival this weekend.
‘a selection of cheeses’ appeared on a number of larger band riders during the course of the weekend, however not a single artist actually ate any of the supplied cheese. i suggested that next year we purchase a single selection [...]

and so i return from 2 weeks of cycling in norway with sarah (who, by the way, has a lot of pictures to illustrate).
perhaps my favourite holiday chore was absurdity spotting. we did a lot of it.
