vinegar breath

i woke up this morning, needing a drink of water. i grabbed the nearest bottle of water – only to find that it was the bottle i had carefully placed away from the floor to stop it being knocked over – containing not water, but decanted red wine vinegar.
a swig of that wasn’t exactly what i needed first thing in the morning.

reminds me of a friend who (whilst drunk) mistook cooking oil for white wine.
